Our main Leicester Herbal Clinic will answer all your enquiries and supply you with high quality Herbal Medicines which can be sent by next day post.
Please get orders for post to us by 2:15pm. We will always endeavour to get out orders after this time but on busy days late orders may slip to the following days post as we are
governed by Royal Mail collection times. Although we will always do our upmost to serve you we are not staffed up to take urgent orders to the post office for special delivery and on
busy days will not be able to oblige. Please help us by ordering in good time.

If you cannot make a booked appointment please let us know as soon as possible and in any case give at least 24 hours notice and within normal clinic hours so that we can reallocate the appointment to someone else. The Fees |

FEES APPROXIMATED BELOW ARE FOR YOUR GUIDANCE ONLY
Initial Consultation
fees are charged at the
discretion of each Practitioner and is usually between £100 and £150 depending
on the individual consultation. The initial consultation will normally last
around ONE HOUR, after which a further 15-20 minutes should be allowed for
dispensing your individual prescription.
Subsequent Consultations
are normally in the region of £75-£100 depending on the duration (30 mins-1 hour) and type of
consultation. Follow-up appointments usually require up to 30 minutes.
Consultations for Children, the Elderly, and those in receipt of state benefits may be reduced in certain circumstances. Prescriptions for children
may likewise vary depending upon age and need so please identify any entitlement prior to arrival and ask for details during the consultation.
Liquid Medicines are uniquely dispensed personal prescriptions in the region of £22.00 to £26.00 per week, per prescription (4
weeks treatment is usually given). Prescriptions for children may vary depending upon age and need, so please ask for details during the consultation.
Tablets, capsules, lotions, ointments, pessaries etc. are charged in addition according to quantity and type. For more information please ask your
herbalist for details.
At Hydes we source raw herbs and herbal medicines worldwide in
order to obtain the best quality and ensure supply in any season. We negotiate for the best price only when
quality is assured by competing suppliers. We never reduce quality to achieve cost savings. Sometimes the supply
and cost is effected by the buying power of large pharmaceutical companies who are increasingly using herbs.
The cost of prescriptions, reflects the problems of growing, harvesting, drying and shipping the raw herb to us.
and the considerable overheads involved in processing and maintaining adequate stocks of prepared tincture.
Unlike many herbalists we manufacture our own high quality medicines to ensure a consistant quality and strength. Hydes medicines
are unique and only available from us after a consultation. We do not supply other herbalists, third parties or retail outlets.
Specific investigations or test fees are charged additionally, e.g. Cholesterol, Food Intolerance, Urine, can be performed on-site during your visit.
Some tests, e.g. full blood testing, full urine and bowel analysis, are
processed overnight by our laboratory services from samples taken at the clinic.
Service Charges (including Postage/Packaging/Insurance) are incurred only if medicines are posted. If there is any damage or loss in postage you are insured for
complete no-quibble replacement at no further cost. We aim for next day delivery.
VAT is charged at the prevailing rate (currently 20%). Please be aware that we are obliged to apply this to all medicines and services.
This is additional to the costs stated above and will be identified on invoices and receipts.

Method of Payment |

We accept cash, cheques, and credit/debit cards at the clinic. For settlement of postal invoices please settle by bank trandfer, send a cheque, or phone reception and pay directly by credit/debit card. Please ask reception for payment details if you require standing orders, bank transfers, or an internet banking BACS payments. We do not curently have a direct debit arrangment for variable payment amounts. Regretfully we can only accept payments in UK £ sterling and our terms are settlement of all accounts are within 30 days from the invoice date. Please settle accounts promptly as this helps us to keep costs down. Please contact us in complete confidence if there are any queries about your account or any issues regarding payment within normal terms. Overdue accounts may incur a reminder fee and/or additional administrative charges. With prior arrangement we can set up a payment plan for the convenience of patients who require regular Herebal medicine and, our reception staff will be pleased to help and advise you.
